Abstract
An expert system for claims guidance has been developed at US Army Construction Engineering Research Laboratory. This-paper describes the development of the first module of the Claims Guidance System (CGS) for analysing 'differing site condition' (DSC) claims. Also included is a selection of appropriate cases and a sample consultation.
