Abstract

The purpose of this research is to provide quantitative data on the relationships between CII best practices and project cost performance for the building sector of the construction industry. The practices addressed in this study include pre-project planning, project change management, team building, safety (zero accident techniques) constructability, design/information technology, and percent design complete. In addition, this study takes a cursory look into the interaction between these CII best practices.
