Abstract

This paper is based on a study on the identification of constraints in resources and functions within the processes of construction procurement in Malaysia, and the development of proposed strategies to remove or alleviate the constraints identified. The study employed the triangulation research approach in data sources and analysis. Respondents to the study were Malaysian organizations involved in the processes of construction procurement in Malaysia. The findings of the study suggest the areas of most constraints and the strategies that could be implemented to remove or alleviate the constraints identified.
